Building on the success of the inaugural 2024 vEM Tech Forum at Harwell Campus, United Kingdom, the second vEM Tech Forum will be held October 11 – 15 at Peking University in Beijing, China. The Forum will bring together the global vEM community to explore advances in life and materials sciences and to showcase the latest innovations in microscope platforms, specimen preparation, correlative imaging, automation, and AI-driven software development. The program will feature technical talks, posters, panels, challenge sessions, and live demonstrations of cutting-edge hardware and software tools. The annual vEM Town Hall will also take place during this meeting (with in-person and remote access available for this session).
Attendance is limited to 200. Please register as soon as possible.
Confirmed keynote speakers include Professor Ji Wei, Institute of Biophysics, CAS, China; Professor Yoshi Kubota, National Institute for Physiological Sciences, Japan; Professor Hua Yunfeng, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, China; and Dr. Michele Darrow, Rosalind Franklin Institute, United Kingdom.
Session Topics will include:
· Correlative and Allied Imaging Techniques
· Downstream Uses of Volumetric Data
· Molecular Targeting and Probes
· Automation Across the vEM Workflow
· Sample Preparation Improvements
· Future Technologies - what’s on the horizon?
· vEM in Pathology and Translation
· Large Volume, Large Scale, Big Data, Artificial Intelligence
