Founded in April 2022, Yidon Technologies is an innovative enterprise incubated by the Suzhou Institute of Biomedical Engineering and Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (SIBET), specializing in the R&D and manufacturing of electron microscopes. The founding team possesses world-class expertise in electron optics and extensive hands-on experience in the development and production of industry-leading electron microscopes.
In 2023, Yidon Technologies launched its first field-emission scanning electron microscope (FESEM), the YF-1801, which received support from the National Key R&D Program of the Ministry of Science and Technology under the Major Scientific Instruments and Equipment Development special project. In 2024, Yidon Technologies introduced the world’s first argon-ion beam scanning electron microscope dual-beam system, which was recognized by the Torch Program of the Ministry of Science and Technology and completed its Pre-A financing round. In 2025, the company released the YF-2800 FESEM with sub-nanometer resolution and initiated the R&D of an embodied-intelligence SEM. In early 2026, Yidon Technologies relocated to the Jiangsu Medical Devices Industrial Park, established a large-scale R&D and manufacturing base, and completed its Series A financing. Yidon Technologies also launched the ABSEM 200MA dual-beam system for ultra-large-scale material analysis, the DSEM-100 desktop FESEM, and the Yidon omniSEM Agent, a universal embodied- intelligence engine for SEMs, ushering in a new era of AI-native electron microscopy applications.
