For Regular Participants and Students

The AIQMD 2026 Summer School will admit up to 120 participants based on a competitive review of application materials. Except invited speakers and session chairs, all participants must apply online. On-site registration is not available.

Application Process

Evaluation: Admission is determined by a comprehensive review of your submitted documents. The applicants are expected to have learned Advanced Physical Chemistry, Quantum Chemistry, or other alternative courses. Graduate students, third- and fourth-year undergraduates, and early-career researchers are all welcome to apply.

Fees: No payment is required to apply. Only accepted participants will be asked to pay the registration fee.

  • Résumé / CV 
  • Proof of Student Status: (Required only if requesting a student discount). A scanned copy of a valid student ID or equivalent certification.

  • DOI links of up to 3 representative publications relevant to the summer school topics
  • Letter of recommendation from your academic advisor
  • Any additional supporting materials that demonstrate your background, research experience, or competencies in relevant areas

• Early Application Deadline: May 10, 2026, at 08:00 AM (Beijing Time, UTC+8), with notification of decision on or before May 20, 2026.
• Final Submission Deadline: June 1, 2026, at 08:00 AM (Beijing Time, UTC+8), with notification of decision on or before June 23, 2026.

REGISTRATION FEES

• The registration fee includes access to all scientific sessions, conference materials, lunches, and coffee breaks during the summer school.
• Refund Policy: Full refund is available for requests submitted on or before June 15, 2026 (Beijing Time). Only 70% of the payment will be refunded for those submitted between June 16 and July 20, 2026. No refund will be issued after July 20, 2026. Please submit your refund application to the Local Committee at: aiqmd2026@163.com.
