The National School of Development (NSD) at Peking University is the Conference Venue for GAMES 2024. The campus of the school is at Chengze Garden (承泽园), which is located in the northwest corner of Beijing City. Please note that it is outside the main campus of Peking University.
There will be No Parking service for the guests on all conference days. You can take taxi or public transportation to the Conference Venue.
The closest stations of Beijing Subway to the campus are Yuanmingyuan Park Station (圆明园站) of Line 4, Xiyuan Station (西苑站) of Line 4 and Line16, and Wanquanhe Qiao Station (万泉河桥站) of Line 16. It takes you a 15-minute walk from the stations to the campus.
Note: CSF Market (“超市发”超市) is the closest supermarket to the Conference Venue. It sits just 50 meters away from the East Gate of the Chengze Garden and at the other end of the white stone bridge. Categories in CSF Market include foods, drinks, and daily necessities. At its entrance, you can find a mini drugstore.

Beijing Capital International Airport (PEK)（北京首都国际机场）

This airport is about 35 kilometers away from the Conference Venue. The two designated hotels, The Lakeview Hotel and Beijing Posts and Telecommunications Conference Center, are not far from the Conference Venue.
It takes you about 55 minutes on taxi from the airport to the hotels, when traffic is not heavy. The taxi fee normally ranges from CNY 90 to 150, sometimes even more.

Beijing Daxing International Airport (PKX)（北京大兴国际机场）

This airport is about 65 kilometers away from the Conference Venue. It takes you about 80 minutes on taxi from the airport to the designated hotels, when traffic is not heavy. The taxi fee normally ranges from CNY 150 to 200, sometimes even more.

Longhu Xingyuehui – Beijing Yihe (龙湖星悦荟—北京颐和)
Address: Erlongzha Road and Zhongzhi Road Intersection, Haidian District, Beijing（北京市海淀区二龙闸路与中直路交口）
This food street is about 1.1 kilometers away from the Conference Venue. It takes you 16-minute walk to go there. You can have quite some options like coffee shops, western style foods, barbecue, Hot Pot, Yunnan cuisine, northwestern cuisine, and Hangzhou cuisine in the street. You can find a convenient store there as well.
Changchunyuan Food Street (畅春园—畅饷里)

This newly re-opened food street is about one kilometer away from the Conference Venue. It takes you 15-minute walk to go there. You can find coffee shops, Beijing cuisine, Cantonese cuisine, Hunan cuisine, Hot Pot, fast foods, and barbecue there.

Weather
It is quite hot in Beijing during the conference days. Average temperatures in a day change from 22°C (72℉) at night to 33°C (91℉) at noon. It can be super sunny and dry, but sometimes it rains heavily. Please bring sun cream, sunglasses and umbrella with you.
Currency
Foreign currencies such as the British pound, U.S. dollar, Euro, Japanese yen, Canadian dollar and Australian dollar can be exchanged into Renminbi (RMB), the Chinese currency, at the airports and in banks.
We recommend you get some cash in RMB when you arrive at airport, if you are international visitors. Do get some notes in smaller units like CNY 1, 5, 10, 50 for changes besides the 100-yuan bills. You will need them when you take taxi or subway, especially when you visit China for the first time.
In China, mobile payment is widely used and convenient. (See more in “Mobile Payment”.) But it is always good to carry some cash with you in case of internet failures.
There are Industrial and Commercial Bank and Agricultural Bank on the campus of Peking University. Minsheng Bank and Bank of Beijing are located outside its East Gate, and Bank of China is located outside the Southwest Gate. Outside of the South Gate, you can find Construction Bank. All of these banks can handle the exchange of RMB and foreign currencies, including traveler's checks and etc., deposits and so on.
